Muzzle brake....I've got a new bull barrel 308 AR10. It has a lot of muzzle jump which I think would make it harder to make followup shots. How does one get a muzzle brake installed and where in Knox area? I assume the barrel tip could be threaded and a screw on could be added but I don't know...

Are you opposed to sending the upper off to have it done?

When my youngest son was 10 or 11, he was afraid to shoot my rifle because it "kicked" so I took it and had a muzzle brake put in it. It does indeed reduce recoil and muzzle rise. The down side is the muzzle blast is much worse.

Any local shop who sells suppressors will have a machine shop they send barreled actions to for threading. After threaded to one of the industry standard sizes, you can buy a brake off Amazon fairly cheap.
Nevermind, I see you started a new thread and got it done elsewhere. Glad it worked out.
