For those not tracking, several forecasts and models suggest we’ll experience flood stages by end of February. Excessive rain over TN & OH River basins is the culprit. Same story, different year. The river bottoms can’t catch a break.

MS river in NW tn has been out for weeks. Last year was terrible, lost out on 500 acres of soy beans.

This last high water crest was around 49.5’ on Cairo gage. Some models suggesting mid 50s for this crest, if everything materializes over the Ohio River Basin.

It got to 33’ on the Osceola gauge a few weeks ago. Any idea what the long forecast is now? The gauge forecast only shows 28 right now

That’s not the end of the world for me but hopefully it goes down quick and it doesn’t play the same game for 6 months just like last year.
