mounting 56 mm scope on model 7 remington.

Does anyone know what height rings i will need for the 56 mm scope to clear the barrel on a model 7? high or extra high using weaver 2 pc bases. Thanks its a 1 inch scope tube btw.

I have a M8-6X 36mm lens on my wifes M7 6MM rem,,it is very handy and fast pointing grim reaper,

Just wanted to know what height rings.Thanks for the helpful information.I already have the scope and was going to order the rings.I will order high and extra high , surely one set will work.

On a 56mm I would go Extra High, especially if you will have scope caps.

I have a 1.75-5x20 on one of mine and have never enjoyed the rolling pin scopes, but it's not mine and I'm not shooting it, soooo........................
