Anybody else hearing multiple reports of a mountain lion roaming in and around the Deer Run Creek bottoms in Hardeman County?
This is the 3rd person that I have heard of seeing one around there lately.
We dont normally have them around there, but every few years or so one shows up probably looking for a girlfriend.

Yea, I saw it on a a FB page earlier. It's a 3rd party photo (not posted by the owner) No way to distinguish if it's legit or not as they have no photos of deer to use for size comparison. Ratajczak commented on it and didn't confirm based on the lack of other photos.

IMHO I feel it's a house cat. The head appears to be small.

I have an uncle that had a farm in hatchie bottom near Vildo Rd that was seeing them in the 60s.
His grandfather that had a lumber company, Kirsey Timber I think, was also talking about seeing them.

That pic is dated end of June. People are seeing it the past couple of weeks.
Years ago I was talking with an AR game warden. He said they would never officially confirm a mountain lion sighting in an unusual place because they had concerns about the anti-hunting crowd causing problems for the hunters over it.
