I was looking today while scouting for birds, I expect em to be up within a few days. Trillium is blooming and may apples are opening up, that's the first sign.

hardwoods, I prefer ridge and hollers, but they can grow a lot of places.

in the sun out of the sun? does north, south, east or west sloop make a difference? I have heard under standing dead red elm, and sycamore trees any truth to this?
