Was watching the news and one station kept repeating a warning to the friends/family of anyone who might be in Mississippi to call now and tell them to take cover.

The last few days feel like a blur. We have a lot of young forecasters who live to work severe weather. If I never have another one, it wouldn't bother me a bit. The anticipation leading up to an event it intense. The event itself is exciting and post-event stuff is grueling.

Looks like they will be getting more this evening/tonight. I hope they’re wrong but looks prime for another event

This is a picture of a friend of mines house that got destroyed. That white structure circled is the storm shelter she and her husband got from her dad when he passed away a few years ago. If not for that, she and her husband would probably be dead.
