Rolling Fork, a little town just south of where I grew up is almost totally gone. My brother texted me and said as of this morning, 13 people died in the storm last night. I've seen a few pics and videos, it's devastating.

I don’t see how anyone in that town survived

Was watching the news and one station kept repeating a warning to the friends/family of anyone who might be in Mississippi to call now and tell them to take cover.

Prayers for the ones that got hit. I have family and know several people down there but it didn't hit any of them.

One of our guys is a firefighter in Corinth, he's been in Rolling Fork helping since yesterday noon. Sent me some pics from Amory on his way down, looked almost as bad...

I just heard that the tornado was on the ground for a total of 1hr 10 minutes, hard to fathom such devastation for such a long time.

Yes my family and friends are good. Others are not. My hunting camp is just a couple miles south of Rolling Fork. Several members are from there and have family there. It’s bad.

The last few days feel like a blur. We have a lot of young forecasters who live to work severe weather. If I never have another one, it wouldn't bother me a bit. The anticipation leading up to an event it intense. The event itself is exciting and post-event stuff is grueling.

Looks like they will be getting more this evening/tonight. I hope they’re wrong but looks prime for another event

This is a picture of a friend of mines house that got destroyed. That white structure circled is the storm shelter she and her husband got from her dad when he passed away a few years ago. If not for that, she and her husband would probably be dead.
