ESPN keeps saying he was using "homophobic slurs"... Doesnt homophobic mean like... afraid of homosexuality? So, if you call someone a 'f*gg*t' that makes you a homophobe?

This type of stuff happens more than you think in the world of competive sports.
I have seen it and been on teams that had that type of coaches, bully usually start with these type of authority types. When you are young and love playing sports, you sometimes endure more than you should.

He got somewhat of what he deserves! I would of much rather heard he got his butt whooped by one of his players though.

I love how ESPN milks the gay thing. I stopped the video after hearing that.

Is he out of line, physically? YES

The reality is that most NORMAL people STILL say gay, fa##ot, etc... GET OVER IT.

Dang, saw one of the videos last night. That guy not only needed to be fired, but needed his scrawny, bigger than he thinks it is, hind end kicked.

I agree, he needed to be fired but the AD does as well for allowing this to go on as long as it did.....

And just a brief comment about homophobia.

Any phobia is simply a fear of something such as heights, spiders, etc.

The fear is based in the thought that whatever you have the phobia about will harm you or affect your life in a negative way.

In most every case of phobias, they have no firm base and will have little if any effect on your lifestyle or hurt you in anyway.

We have all heard someone say about a snake or spider that it may not harm them but will make them harm themselves.

Most people fear what they do not understand and the essence of the unknown causes them to lash out.

Also, people have a need to control the world around them. When they can not, they again lash out.

They hate their phobia (spiders, for example)and see no reason for their existance, even though they play a major role in nature.

Phobias of any kind are not healthy.

The difference is that spiders aren't going into schools recruiting kids to change into spiders.

A phobia is a fear of something. Homophobia, if defined correctly, is actually the fear of man. NOT fear of man on man sex, like the media has served up in its kool aid.

A more correct use of the term phobia would be Paliphobia- the fear liberal men have of Sara Palin.

Didn't mean to hijack. Just get sick of being called the bad guy simply for following the bible and the natural world.

Real piece of work that fella is, if you seen the video, all the kids should be able to line up and each take a few turns throwing the basketball as hard as they can right at his crotch area. That guy is a flat out idiot!
