Anyone had this happen and what's the cause? It's the gray connector that you push and turn and it locks in place. Leaks fuel when you pump the bulb. Is the o-ring dry rotted or what?

Sounds like the o-ring. If you haven't updated to the "new" ethanol proof line/bulb you need to. Replace the whole thing and you won't have to worry. The old fuel lines will break down with ethanol and get trash in your carbs.

I don't use ethanol gas in any small motors or outboards

That's obviously the best choice. I have a non ethanol station 5 minutes from my house now. I didn't know if you had it available.
