"Killers never smile."
The young man was raised right. He was kind, respectful, funny, and a good friend to everyone that was lucky enough to know him. He loved the outdoors. The woods, waters and fields were where he was his most comfortable. He always seemed a little more mature and wiser than most his age. As I write this, I am flooded with memories of this great young man. I met Matt when he was 12. He was a friend of my son Kyle. Kyle always had a "Mielke" story to tell after school. When I told Kyle about Matt's death his response was exactly what I was feeling. "Why is it always that the good guys die young."
Matt you only lived 26 years but those 26 years held accomplishments that would have taken a lifetime for most.
I will provide more details later as they become available.
