I've got a 2005 Johnson 15 hp and the lower unit is making a clattering noise when I put it in gear under a load. I figure it will be pricey to repair it so I've been looking for a replacement lower unit from a used motor. I've found one in good shape for $150 but it's off of he thinks a mid 90's model. I haven't pulled mine off yet to compare but I'm thinking a mid 90's won't fit. Anybody know what year models will interchange with my 2005? Also, if anyone has one that will fit please let me know. Thanks.
