I have had three years of history with this buck. I had a chance to shoot him late during last season and decided not to shoot him since it was so late in th3 year with the hopes he would make it through the winter and really grow this summer. He lost a point but looks to have added some length and mass. How old do you guys think he is?

This is him last year...

And this is the summer of 2012

3 years of history I'd say don't worry bout how old he is till he's on the ground, sure is old enough to kill. But I would guess 5.5 knowing he is older than 3 and his hams are pretty well filled out.

Thanks guys I would definitely be thrilled to have a shot at him. I killed a 6 year old piebald deer last year that I had pics of for 3 years. He only scored around 115 but I was really excited to kill him. I really enjoy watching them grow and am learning not to care how big they are.

Unless I am seeing wrong looks like he only has 4 points on left beam this year compared to 5 the 2 prior years. Better shoot'em.

I have two fields that he has been showing up in and there is a creek bottom between them. I'm sure that's is where he moves during daylight I have just been waiting to get in there. I have had a few pics of him moving right at daylight I just have to figure out which way he leaves the field.

At least 4. He looks 2 in the 2012 picture. At 5 or 6, even in summer, a buck will look like a real pig in body, but with a thin neck.
