I have couple RUM's and need to get some powder for them. I would like to get 8lb and be done with it but I will buy singles. I'm not going to pay these ridiculous prices but if anybody lays eyes on some I would appreciate it if they gave me a shout.

No alternative powder in mind?

May need to drill down through someother choices and keep a list of them handy.

I like the numbers RETUMBO puts out. I would use RL22 or IMR 7828 but would rather get Retumbo

I was gonna say that I've noticed seeing IMR 7828 at a few on line places recently and it's a good slow powder for that type cartridge. It's all I've ever used in my 257 Weatherby.

kornbread, not sure where you live, but I have Retumbo. Its an opened 8 pounder with little missing. I shot a ladder in 264 WM w/140's. I am extreme west TN in Memphis.

Your 4 hours from me. I just bought 8lb of IMR-7828. If I end up that way I'll get with you. Thanks
