Paper and deer for sure maybe elk one day. 600 to whatever I've got a 300 win mag in in a Christensen ridgeline just wanting something different in the hmr. So I guess it would be between the 6.5 prc and 300 prc

I guess the biggest thing is just wanting something different than the traditional calibers to play with 308, 30-06, 300 win etc.

If I already had a 300 winnie, I'd have a difficult time saying no to a 6.5 PRC that needed to be adopted.

With all that you've said, 7 prc. If you're just stuck on the 30 cal I'd go with a prc over a win mag. Stick to heavy bullets either way and have fun. I wished I had went prc over wm but now I don't own either so there's that lol. But in the 7 prc you could push a 180 Berger without feeling left behind.
