A Rod will make 29 million dollars for this season.
They said that was more than the entire Houston Astros team together.

They said something else about the fact that he would miss half the season for some reason but I was laughing so hard I missed it.

There must be a BUNCH of people out there that spend ALOT more money on baseball than I do.

It's pathetic. I used to love MLB when I was younger. I quit watching and going to games when the salary disparities from one team to another got so ridiculous. On any given day you have $200M in player salaries taking the field against $40M. What a joke. I mostly blame the owners. They signed these insane contracts. I don't like the players union, either.

The season hasn't even started yet and the Royals, Pirates and a few other teams are already eliminated from contention, as usual.
