just loaded 20 rounds to go try at 600 and 1,000 for dope confirmation and with Lapua brass,175 SMK bullets,CCI 200 primers and 42 grs Varget all 20 loads weighed between 395.2 and 396.5,,I had never weighed any ammo and thought that was pretty good without weighing any of the brass, bullets or powder charges,,

now to see how it goes

I have never weigh any either, but that sounds like they are pretty close. I may start weighing just to see.

Those weight ranges are extremely small, indicates high quality components and that you are paying attention. The biggest variances are in the brass, at least that is what I discovered. But I could never make the weight difference be a measurable difference in POI.

it tracked out exactly as the JBM dope,,15 minutes to 600 and 41.5 to 1,000,,,1 MOA per every 1 MPH wind at 1,000,,I had 41.5 elevation and 4 for wind on the first shot at 1,000 and was even about 2 feet right,,second shot was right there,,

I may put up a paper target and try that at 1,000 and see how it goes,,

I have never weighed any ammo either but I have read of folks doing it with 22 ammo, it makes sense & at the longer ranges it will show up if its bullet weight or powder, im not sure if the brass would play a roll as much as the bullet & powder. if you could keep track of how each piece of brass shot after a few shots thru it you might be able to see if any difference was made.
