Ryan Hall is doing a great job.
I just put him on, he said Wynne took heavy damage.

Brian Emfinger, who Ryan is following as well. That drone footage was amazing, but what was really wild was Brian's live video as the tornado came right at him. He moved and his original video site was hit directly.
I chased with Howie Bluestein out of OU in the early 80s, when he was first experimenting with early forms of mobile doppler radar. Back then, the idea of "chasing" tornadoes was unheard of. We and the other OU Meteorology students were the only ones out there. Then "Twister" came out. Everything went to Hell after that. Now the "chaser convergences" on a likely-looking supercell are insane. They cause massive traffic jams, accidents and put people's lives at risk. There have been moves to outlaw the practice. Personally, I think that goes way too far. If someone wants to risk their life to get close to a tornado, more power to them. Natural Selection in action (the dumb die and the smart survive). But I would never want to chase in the Plains again. Too many idiots. What really bothers me are the "for profit and glory" chasers. They get on my last nerve. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch their chase videos, but some are total yahoos and glory-hounds. I've limited my chaser-video watching to only those with some modicum of knowledge and decorum. That stuff is way too dangerous IMO. ...but I guess people have the right to get their thrills however they want. They get in the way of first responders a lot. (again IMO)
Were you a meteorology student too or just got hooked up with them?I chased with Howie Bluestein out of OU in the early 80s, when he was first experimenting with early forms of mobile doppler radar.
