I started out with this:

Ended up with this:

1448 Polarkraft that I put a 25hp Suzuki, Minnkota Edge, wood decks, wood floor, running lights and one small head light, bilge pump, and all wired into a 6 switch panal. It can take two people but it is almost always me and one to 3 dogs. I go just about any where. I have even been out on the main channel of KY lake a few time(when there was no wind and little boat traffic, lol).

I like that. That's what I'm needing.

I've got a 1448 that I've never had on the water. It belonged to my uncle and I got it after he passed away. Had to put a new to me motor on it and plan was to use it for hunting Corp land a little bit but that hasn't happened.

Go ahead and bite the bullet and get a 42 or 48.
Good Lord willing I will never have to get in another 1436.

I've got a 1432 that's probably 50 years old. No idea on brand. I only use it on our duck hole and only paddle it then. It has extremely low sides and wouldn't be very safe except on very small, protect water.

I got me a little 1230 from a member here. It's just a little beater boat and I'll use it in some ponds and a little watershed out here by the house. Thinking about a nucanoe, kayak, or just a regular canoe also for small lakes and such.

Heck yes! My Tracker Topper is a 1436. It's my low water arrowhead hunting boat. Scares me every time I get in it. But it's more convenient then a kayak. If I had to do it over again, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have bought the 1436 but for the price I gave for it, I can't complain too much.
