Years ago, I would pass a fella on the side of the road with a sign to the effect of "Homeless. Anything Helps." I passed this guy every day for weeks. Finally, one miserably hot day he had a new sign, "Not gonna lie, I just want a beer." I instantly pulled into the parking lot and bought him a 6 pack of his choice. Honesty can go a long ways. In that same vein -- and to the contrary of every public land post I have every read-- I am absolutely looking for your LBL listening trees or jump out spots.
