Congrats to those who were drawn. Did anyone get drawn who had 0 preference points??

I did but I only applied for the ML draw in KY Nov 18-20 and put in for preference points for the others. I'll be right back where I shot my 9 ptr out there last year. Not sure how I feel about it being a week later this year...

I will be in Area 15 on the October hunt. We generally put in for the November hunt but schedule work out better for the early hunt.
@JAJ or anyone in area 15 or 16. Might want to go to LBL website and check the Tornado path map. One of my spots is right on the line. May want to scout / hunt accordingly.

It usually takes at least 1 point, unless your in a big group.

A group of 5 from here were drawn. 1 had 1 point, 4 had zero points. I had 1 point and wasn't drawn. Same choices- any area.

Ky has lots of good public and there is the one buck limit. The KY LBL side supposedly has a lower deer density, but they did have planted crops where I was last year. TN has 0

I believe that group's application was simply "picked" before yours.
By the time yours came up, all the available hunt choices had been awarded.
Were you applying totally by yourself or with someone else?
If you were by yourself with 1.0 preference points,
you would normally have "priority" over a group having 0.20.

I was by myself with 1 point. They were in a group with 0.2 average points and got drawn.

I have no idea how this happened.
I believe you should have been drawn before a group averaging 0.2 preference points.
