Field grade, all original shotgun. Produced in 1901, grade "00" based on serial number. Bores are in good shape and action locks up tight. Safe to shoot modern loads, but more of a collectors item. $800

Billboy, have you advertised this anywhere else? Wondering if you've had much interest outside of this post. I have an LC Smith Field featherweight 16 gauge double that I had intentions of restoring but it just takes up space in my gun safe. I've been looking for places to sell it but haven't found much of anything. Good luck in moving yours.

I have not listed it anywhere else. I guess Gunbroker would be the next logical step. Just hoping there might be someone local that would be interested. Thanks and good luck!

My papaw has this same exact model passed down from his dad to him, then to my dad, and hopefully to me afterwards. has had about a billion shells put through it by all of us and would still take it into the field today. dang good piece and a good looking one too! well worth asking price.
