Jobs out West

Got a nephew that needs some direction and thought I may encourage him to make a move out West and get a seasonal job at a dude ranch or outfitter.
Anyone know how to find jobs like that if there is such a thing?

I would look into the areas around Yellowstone. He could look into some of the private companies outside the park or even check out Xantera, which is the parks concession contractor.
Last fall, sitting in a brewery in Sheridan, WY, I met the former mayor of the town. Originally he was from Georgia (I think), moved to WY to work in Yellowstone. Decided to stick around and go to college there, landed a teaching/coaching job and later was elected Mayor.
So, you never know how your life will change by “going West”.

Not out west, but in my research for a turkey outfitter in Alabama for my son's senior trip, I contacted a lady who needed a farm hand/guide,

She has a cattle farm of about 2800 acres and conducts deer and turkey hunts.

I almost had her talked into letting us come down and hunt without a guide, but due to some other things that she had going on, it didn't work out.

Just a suggestion. Takes about 18 months to get hired on average, but pay and benefits are considerably better than ranching/outfitting.

Does he have horse expierience ?

There are Guide schools available on the net.... or it was when the thought crossed my mind.
