Johnson signed with the Vols last week but waited until today to make the announcement. He is the #4 JUCO OT. Chose Tennessee over USC and Missouri. The Vols definitely need him.

I think the best part about the signing was the quote from Johnson
"The coaches do not sugarcoat anything," said Johnson, the No. 4 junior college offensive tackle in the 247Sports Composite. "They never told me once that I would start. They were straight with me from the start."
this kinda honesty & straight up man to man sugarcoat nothing talks is something the vols have missed for years its been reported CBJ would about tell this kids anything to get them to come to UT then wonder why they upset when they not playing or they look foolish on the field.

Rather have this guy than Mayes anyhow
Very nice video below. However, he looks like he will need to add weight to play OL in the SEC. I think I saw where has 3 yrs to play 3 yrs. So he may not see the field much this year, but maybe he can bulk up for yrs 2 & 3.
