Just got word from FB that Iron Maiden is playing in Nashville on September 5 at the Bridgestone Arena!

Megadeth is the opening band.

Up the Irons!

It is the Maiden England 2013. It is in support of the Maiden England Dvd that is out. I have the VHS that came out in 1990. It's from their Seventh Son of a Seventh Son tour. They played a few newer songs when I saw them in Dallas. Otherwise, they played mostly their classic stuff. Sort of a combo between Live After Death and Maiden England.

Bruce is singing, he rejoined Maiden in 2000 and has been back ever since. Same for Adrian Smith! Now if they could get rid of Janick Gers...

Got my ticket on Wednesday.

One of my buddies is is the Iron Maiden fanclub, and members can get tickets early. He didn't like the seats Ticketmaster was steering him towards, it kept steering him towards the side of the stage. So he got tickets for the St. Louis show, a few days after the Nashville show.

Eh. I take those announcements in Memphis with a little skepticism. It's not Iron Maiden. Although I wonder who it will be. Black Sabbath is supposed to come out with a new album, that would be cool if they came here.

I'd say that with Nashville and St Louis shows, Memphis is unlikely due to proximity agreements. For a show that size, promoters generally want a 300-400 mile radius clause.
