Iowa Outfitters

Just bought my second point and was planning on going public land hunting when I get enough points.
Been thinking about checking into outfitters as well.

Can anyone can recommend an outfitter in Iowa? I'd like to get a few names so I can start a conversation with them.

I have not hunted with him, but you might check out whiskey ridge hunts.

Steer clear of Southwest Iowa Outfitters. First time dealing with them it was okay as 2 of us rented a farm from them & hunted on our own. 2nd time 5 of us did their full blown gun outfitted hunt & it was not good, not good at all. Have hunted with numerous outfitters over the years and this was absolute worse.

I have used Shawn Woods twice. He doesn't advertise at all but stays booked up. Great experience with him. I think his name is Hawkeye whitetails but can't remember. It has been 8 years or so since I have been. One of his places borders kisky.

J&S Trophy Hunts there in zone 5 they are legit outfitter from my experience, the times that I have hunted with them they had 100% success rate.

Thanks for all the suggestions and I'm looking at all of them. Also spoke with one that was at the TN Deer show this past weekend.
A little bit of sticker shock on some of the prices.
