Iowa archery tag done

Just got our group put in for our iowa archery tags. This will be the first time I have hunted our family farm with a bow. Ive shotgun/muzz hunted it since 2000. Cant wait to see all these deer in the rut. Were got 2 points going in and that locks us in for our zone. Sure wish they wud come back down on these tags tho.

I thought May too give or take a week. I just went to Iowa DNR page and didn't see anything about buying points yet

Ive been going since 2000 and the deadline has always been end of may. So last yr my buddy texts me askin when the deadline was and low and behold the deadline was that very same day (april 30) a month early. So here I was at 11pm trying to get all my gang together and cudnt missed out on it last yr. So those that think its in May dont. Its actually April 28.
