in search of a rifle scope

I have an old Mauser action 7x57 mm that I had drilled and tapped for a scope. I'm not looking for the biggest baddest optic out there but something that'll do just fine around 100 - 150 yards. I don't typically shoot further than that any way. any suggestions?

I like Leupold but Vortex makes some good budget scopes ,crossfire and diamondback line are very good scopes .

Watch MidwayUSA for Vortex sales. They usually get the DiamondBack HP in 3x12 or 4x16 for around $200 and the Viper HS in 2.5x10 in for around $250.

My last few have been Leupold scopes. I have a Vortex, but not 100% sold yet. I still miss Nikon not making scopes.
