That's right - the dang CG get sick and tired of picking up folks from ice flows, they think we can pick up all their belongings too, not going to happen, we'll get you, but your sh!t is going to Davy Jones :)

Last year some guys left their wooden one out on a lake near me called Allens Lake. One of those that looks like a big outhouse. We had a warm spell and it fell about half way through and froze there...so they couldn't get it out by March 1. It later went to the bottom. DNR charged them to get it out plus the fine for not removing it before March 1...Since it was wooden I think it would have made a good fish structure myself

LOL. My Grandparents were on Long Lake for many years.
Seen a few of 'em go missing way back when........

As a kid, I was more of the 5-gallon bucket type.
One for the fish-finder & heater, one for the rods & tip-ups.
