My brother and I got all the annual plots disked and ready to plant this weekend. I usually plant Labor Day weekend, but after seeing how dry it actually was at the farm, nothing will go into the ground until we get some rain (too many turkeys running around). My brother was running the tractor with the tiller, and it was churning up so much dust I couldn't even see his tractor. At times, we couldn't even see past the front of the tractors that we were driving. I've been blowing dirt out of my nose since Friday.

Thats a rough looking basketball court you got there. As for the dust and dry conditions you are right to wait for some good moisture build up in the soil. You may have to plant later maturing crops then usuall
