What the craziest part was, they called 911 and he would NOT let them fly him.
He refused to get in a helicopter and they had to take him from Reelfoot Lake all the way to Jackson in an ambulance.
I gotta believe it MIGHT have had a better outcome if he had gotten to the hospital quicker. Might not have though, dunno.
Infection is what ultimately got his eye.

I felt bad about it. He only went after I told him about me and man going down there and how much fun it was.

My wife just stored on a 16d sinker old rusty from a 79 year old house. Buried it. So we're at the ER druggie walls in with a rapula Minnie with both trebles sunk in his calf! Looked painful.!!! Druggie so high feeling no pain
