The problem with the left is they pick and choose what they want to believe from individuals.
Lincoln- all they care about is that he freed the slaves. And since they have put all the blacks back on their plantation they need to keep ol Abes actions in their court. But notice they NEVER delve deeper into Lincoln beyond this. Statements such as the one at the top would never be whispered in the lefts camp.
