I guess if she does it congrats but I would rather do it a different way.

yeah. almost all of the records have come from strip mine and quarry lakes. i imagine the next one will come from perris or havasu, unless its grown.

some of the best fishing in my life was when i was 15 and used to sneak into camden gravel and fish those quarry lakes. shame they drained them to make a garbage dump there.

Coppernose bull! That's a good one. Takes a lot of work and money to grow them that size. Had a few that size last year in my pond and hoping by end of summer to get a 12" or bigger. That's very rare on the coppernose as they start getting more depth than length after about 4 years
