I have five and a half days to find a truck. Been wearing out Craig's list. Thought I would check within my TNDEER family. What I need is full size, four door, v-8 at minimum,4x4 would be a plus. Would need to be fairly close to Nashville. 6000 dollars is my max amount. So if any of y'all have or know of a good truck for sell if you could point me in that direction I sure would be grateful.

I'm sorry but for that $ your going to need to buy a wreck to tow it home most every day, wreckers cost more than the 4 door pickups ,will need to hire a driver with cdl's to run it,you get the drift $ either way you go,good luck as great things happen to good folks,I just haven't had much lately

A guy once told me that buying a used car is just buying someone else's problems. May be true sometimes, but there are a few good trucks with a little life still left in them. I don't owe anyone anything and not gonna start now. Ask the guy that told me that how financially fit he is.

Poor Redneck,

It will be VERY difficult to find a decent one in that $$$ range. Should know, work at Jones Motors in Savannah and I cant find one for me as a hunt truck.

I must have the luck of the Irish cause I have found a tight, solid, good truck. I base a lot of my opinion of a used vehicle on the person selling it. Met a great stand up guy last night that bought it from his sister after her husband passed. He owns his own business and I did some research on his business and he produces top shelf work, a marine, a prepper, and straight shooting guy. The kind of guy that works hard and takes care of business. The truck I suspect will not last for ever but I doubt very seriously the truck is is not what he says or appears to be. And just opened up a line of communication with another guy that I would do business with if the other one gets away from me. There are still a few good folks with good used trucks. Just got to find them.

Bought the F250 today and couldn't be happier. As long as I keep her Fed she is gonna be a pulling beast. Now to try and beat gravey out of that tool box.
