For the first time in over a week! While feeding the dog before leaving for work heard him on the only neighbor in the Holler I don't have permission to hunt on, but he's in the Holler at least. I stopped at two other spots on the way to work to listen as I usually do and heard birds in both spots for the first time this year. I may actually go hunting on Monday!

Always a good sign. Maybe they have shed their harem and are becoming more vocal in hopes of gobbling up other hens. Good luck with them.

Good to hear. We still haven't heard a bird on our place in 5 weeks (at least that's how long I've been listening for them). Get after them poorhunter!
this week I have seen a steady increase in gobbling early and mid morning. I mean a lot of gobbling in some spots.
seen more and more single or double hens together recently as well which is a good sign.

Sounds like my MS season this year. Haven't heard a gobble in 3 weeks (but been mostly hunting in TN)
Hitting a new spot of public tomorrow I've never been into. Packing a lunch and spending the day there. I hope this isn't the year where I break my MS streak and fail to get a bird... but at this point, I've absolutely have had my butt handed to me.
