I hate a rain hunt

Looks like the next 10 days or so are going to be rain events. The weather witch said that starting with Monday's opener and the next two days to expect as much as 4" of rain. I know it'll help out the dry WMAs in the west part of the state but dang, I'm not there and I'm prone to rust.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. Like to hunt a shooting house and be there when there is a break in the rain.

Need rain in a big way for our spot. I seriously doubt we'll get enough this year but who knows long time left. I gotta go out of state for a conference next week so I just assume it rain as much as it wants while I'm gone… sorry Gunner lol!

Warm and wet are fine late in the season. Bring the birds south of us back north. We need epic cold and snow now to get the bulk of ducks down around us and points south. Then make hay on a wet, south wind.
