I guess it's getting real now

My son's fiance flew to Florida last Saturday (yes he had to take her to the airport in Nashville last Saturday morning in all that ice and crap) to visit with her mom and the main objective was to buy a wedding dress.

She bought the second one she tried on.
Said she tried on about 10 more but always kept going back to that second one.
She sent the wife a picture and I gotta admit I teared up a bit.

So beautiful.

I can't believe my Little Man will be married in less than 10 months.
I would post a pic but if I did and he saw it her and my wife would kill me.

My Daughter looked at like 500 dresses. My Wife ended up making alterations... I would advise a long long lead time.

Best get a ceremony location and a reception location locked down now...and get ready for sticker shock....

They got the location back a couple months ago. Booked it in October actually, for the wedding in October of 2018.
She wanted to get married in October and when they booked there was only 1 Saturday left.

October is hunting season. I had to make sure my wedding was not during hunting season as my dad said he wasn't coming if it was. Not to mention going hunting on an anniversary weekend could be bad news.
