Went to check on the Cabin this weekend and thwere is beautiful horse in the field. Thought it was the neighbors, nope, nobody is claiming this thing. No One can get near it. So I guess I got a horse, anyone want to take a crack at it?

Yea and the person that did let it go should have an old fashin' butt woopin' -

That BS ticks me off to no end -

I understand these are hard times and feeding any pet is a fiscal burden sometimes, but for the love of God man - do something human not just kick a domesticated animal out to fend for itself.

Well the problem of it being hard times is in some cases made worse with the animal control freaks that try to go to far on what is proper care for a horse. In the Murfreesboro area when I had horses I had one lady tell me I had to go buy high protean feed for an older horse because she could see the ribs. You should have seen her face when I said hold on I will go get my gun and just shoot the horse. If I did not know the laws she would have scared me with her threats of charging me but when I quoted her the TCA she shut up and left. I think people that abandon any animal is wrong but we should not make it so hard to get rid of them. One thing that we could do is open more dog food companies in the us that are allowed to use horse and regulate them.
