Not that I have had that many tough fish fights, but by far the toughest I've ever had was with a big old black drum underneath the bridge in Bay St. Louis. Even though it wore me out it sure was fun. The guide kept telling me to the hold the fish on top so he could net it. I said (while breathing hard), " I'm not the one in charge here." Finally got him in, got the picture, put the fish back to fight another day, and I sat down to recover with an adult beverage.

He sure won't be the same. He caught right at a 6lb largemouth yesterday and had the same expression as if he caught a bluegill. I asked him why he didn't want a picture and his response was "I've caught bigger fish". Lord help me I knew I should've eased him into saltwater
