I want sleep a wink tonight. I will be in the Cherokee national forest chasing those giants in the morning. Anyone else going to the forest in the morning?

No hunting for me this AM. It's been raining here all morning. The younger me would have been out in this. The older me realizes that he's got 4 more months to deer hunt.
Well anybody do any good? Just saw a big hog come thru I ocoee.
As I say nowadays, I'm not that mad at them anymore...

Never missed opening day of archery on the Cherokee until I had to give up bowhunting due to a bone problem. Watch for them buzztails.
Seen 2 at 930 not sure what they was I will be back in the morning
I bumped a nice buck on cohutta this morning feeding on red oak. He had just made a rub and we surprised him. Would have liked to let the wind out of him. Tomorrow we are going to target some hogs I found on South Cherokee. Good luck tomorrow buddy!
