My son killed his first turkey 2 years ago about 10 minutes after the rain stopped that morning.

It cannot rain hard enough to stop me from Turkey hunting.
Went to the truck with a bird several times and was so wet I had to change clothes before getting in.
Went several after a rain to change and get back after them too.

no turkey is worth the misery of hunting in the rain to me.

I enjoy it. Nothing miserable about it.

I've done it. Can be good hunting. Wouldn't go as far as saying I enjoy it but I do like killing turkeys. So if it's raining and it's turkey season I'm probably gonna get wet.
