hunting from the boat

I live in williamson county and was thinking of buying a jon boat for fishing on duck river.
I was wondering what kind of hunting can we do from the boat in Tennessee?
Like can you begin your trip on duck river columbia and go some place for a duck/turkey/deer hunt?

If anyone has done this can you shed some hunting boat routes in tennessee?

i just found out that you can do turkey and deer hunt from your boat on the Tenn-Tom Waterway

You can certainly hunt from your boat if you are shooting onto or going into public lands. It is done all of the time.

But, it is 100% illegal to shoot onto lands where you don't have the landowner's permission for hunting.

Duck river Refuge is at the mouth of the Duck River in Humphreys County you can buy a permit and hunt there certain times of the year
