Hi Everyone,

New here and new to TN. Just wanted to say hi. Love to hunt and fish and will try to post my experiences in the woods in your great state.

I’ve spent a lot of time hunting the hills of WV and the swamps of Florida where I just relocated from although the hunting in south FL is very tough- unless you’re chasing alligators or pigs.

Hopefully I can find a lease for next season. Really looking forward to some quality deer hunting but I sure will miss tarpon fishing.

It’s a pretty easy DIY hunt if you have a boat to drag down. Just need a big spinning rod with a snatch hook. Only problem is you can’t shoot them so you have to dispatch them with a bang stick or get creative with your weapon of choice.

Happy to help with the quota application process and recommending places to apply for if you’re interested. Applications open May 15th, each year.
