How long...

Is too long for a turkey hunting video on YouTube? It involves calling in 3 birds, killing 2, and covers half of opening day and the entire following day. Right now it's at 26 minutes and I plan to finish editing it tonight. Be bluntly honest, should I cut some clips to shorten the video a little? Or would you sit through 26 minutes. Thanks

I would think it depends on the viewers interest. I probably wouldn't watch a half hour of turkey hunting on YouTube, if it were local fishing for rockfish or deer hunting, I would. It depends on the individual. I would add, I get disappointed when videos are to short!

Thanks all for the input. Looks like I got some chopping to do. But will save the original for those who want to see the full version.

Oh, and I've watched a few 30 min YouTube videos myself. But they have to be good for me to sit through it.

I agree with the short and long version. Knowing you from tndeer, I'll watch it all, but for most, over 15 minutes is a long video for the computer.

Still can't wait to see it though!!!

8-10 minutes. that's typically the length of a hunting show on tv, so you'd be about right.

I got it to 15 minutes, if cut any more you would lose important parts of the hunt... Hope it's worth watching and thanks again to everyone for the input.
