You people are not keeping it simple.

Example: 2000 .22 cartridges for sale to highest bid. Item will be sold on January 15 at 12 noon. Central time or sooner.
This can be done now in existing classified section.

As someone who's a member of several auction sites and been the buyer and the seller this would go nowhere fast unless several factors align.

•The seller is willing to start the auction well below current market price.
•The house (tndeer) take would need to be a % instead of a flat price to make it lucrative.
•Shipping cost and hazmat concerns involving ammo and components could narrow your buyer audience quickly.
•Adding to the above, the seller would need an idea of shipping cost when they list it otherwise you'll have a lot of "well I ain't paying that" to ship post auction. Shipping prices are constantly increasing.

Just a couple thoughts to consider.

Maybe everyone should donate $5 to the site before being allowed to bid. Keep trolls from raising the bid up with no interest in buying.
