I bought 4 boxes and can't get my marlin to shoot under a 6 inch group with them. Then shot some old win 170gr and it shot about a 2.5 inch group. Do you think I just had a bad batch of Hornady or my gun just doesn't like them ?

You shooting with a scope? Make sure everything in the mounting system is tight. Loose rings make sighting in a waste of time.

Had the same problem. Bought 3 boxes. Shot a whole box before I decided they were junk and gave up on em and went back to core locks. I have also shot them out of a sharps 45/70 with no problem but I was shooting a bucket with open sights like Quigley down under.

I had a marlin (Remlin) 336y in 30-30. I couldn't get better than about a 12" group at 100 yards with the leverevolutions. The gun just didn't like them. In fact the only thing that the gun liked was Remington 150 grain corelokts. Even then the best I could do was about a 3" group. Wound up trading the gun and a crossbow even for a JM stamped 1981 version of an 1894 in .44 mag. That gun would cloverleaf at 75 yards with Winchester 240 grains. Beat trade I ever made!!

They've always shot well for me and performed well. But something about shooting a round nose or cast out of the levers just does it for me. Guess I'm getting old and rebel against modern tech. Same thing my grandfather and dad do that use to annoy me. Ha go figure

Just found these bad boys at a family members house and did some trading so I will definitely be selling the lever revolution if anyone wants to buy them

Mack's PW has them in stock right now.
Evidently I have been buying a new box of ammo every year since I got that 30/30 for kids. I did a big locker and storage box merge and found 4 partial boxes of 3030. I also have been worried about 20 gauge slug supply and I now have 12 boxes of hornady 20 gauge. That's a lot!

haha... that's the way to do it. stock up every year a little bit, then your not worried when it dries up. I found 10 boxes of Hornady 20 gauge SST last week in my stash.
