Lets go to the operating room, get some goofy juice and then let the doctor, guided by an xray, shove a needle RIGHT between the ball on the end of your leg bone and hip bone and inject some stuff up in there so it won't hurt so much for a while.

Might be better for a year or might be better for 2 weeks.

Any takers? :D

Sounds like a good way to kick off a Friday.

Yep, just in time for the juvy hunt.

Hope the shot helps for about,,,,,, 40 years.
Next step is a hip replacement and I just don't see that as being fun.

I hope it works too. I work with two men that have had hip replacement surgery. This is a story of personal discipline.

Man #1 was around 60 when his was done. Both hips were replaced. He thought recovery would be just as easy with two as with one. he was right. He gets around good. He is a very disciplined person and did exactly what his Dr told him to do. He does not smoke. He does drink a little alcohol. Keeps his weight in check. 4 years and no problems. No noticeable limp at all. Says he feels great and has no pain. Says he would do it again.

Man #2 was around 42 and had a single hip replacement. Was told to stop smoking and drinking. Continued to do both. Was told to lose weight but did not. He has a very noticeable limp. Constant pain and discomfort. Says he would not do it again.

Moral to the story: Get a good doctor and then follow his advice to the letter. If you need to talk to anyone about the surgery and recovery prior to having to make a decision, man #1 would be a good one to talk too.

Oh NO!! I'm probably headed there with the right shoulder tomorrow
Had arthritis in there in my 20's from a "stupid" injury in my 20's and now at 50 following the Honda stunt, its hurting BAD and popping like bones are rubbing together

I've never had one of the cortisone or other shots but at this point I'd take it if they offer
