Hi y'all! My family and I just moved to Morristown, TN from South Carolina. Looking forward to get into the deer woods soon. Very new to deer hunting in TN...looking to find access somewhere on the east side.

Did you hunt private or public close to Morristown? I've fished around one of the TVA spots close to Holts Church Rd but had never been to public hunting/fishing areas in TN. Does it get really busy during deer season? Is it relatively safe to hunt public here?
