Hard to see deer

The farmer did not cut the field this fall. Makes it nearly impossible to see a deer or get a clear shot. Had to pass up at a 7-8 pt this morning as I was not comfortable with shooting 220 yards in the tall weeds.

They sure do seem to like traveling those overgrown fields though. Hopefully these frosts will continue to lay it down a bit. Good luck!

I'm with you. We were supposed to spray but the cost was prohibitive. It was a job getting in.
