Yes you can, I do ......... BUT SCN is 100% correct. And don't forget snakes are protected here in TN. Of course if one nails you, smoke it and bring it along to the ER so they know which anti veniom to dispence. Happened to a friend once, you get INSTENT attention Ha Ha

Just to follow up, in rifle season could your handgun be used to finish a wounded animal? Would it have to have a 4" barrel?

the barrel and minimum caliber restrictions were lifted a couple of years ago. any centerfire handgun is legal during gun season.

the barrel and minimum caliber restrictions were lifted a couple of years ago. any centerfire handgun is legal during gun season.

It was a mistake to open to any centerfire, miminum should be .357 mag.
