Looking to load for 30/06,270, and 280. What's everyone's experience with these powders? My 280 loves RL-19 but just looking for a backup.

Use imr 4350 for 270, 243, and 6.5cm. Great results. Only downside is my measure does not meter the powder well, so hand weigh my loads. Have accurate 4350 to try, supposed to meter better.

Using IMR4350 in our 280 with 140 Accubonds and Partitions. T/C Venture rifle, Leupold glass, Fed 210M primers.
Using IMR4350 in my 30.06 since mid 1980's. Still sub one inch groups, over 3500 rounds down the tube.
Using RL19 for 243 and 95 gr partitions, 700 ADL, for 100 and 105 partitions IMR7828 is one fine powder.

Davidk loaded me some 165 gr accubonds in front of 57 gr of H4350 for my 30-06. 8 lbs hunting rifle at 200 yards. Results speak for themselves.

I had always had good results with IMR 4831 and 140gr Nosler ABs in Remington 700s in 270. Found a Sako A7 in 270 that prefers H4831SC with the same bullet. When primers and powder become more available, I will try the H4831SC in my Remingtons because I'm getting better speed out of the H4831SC and it meters better. IMR4350 has shot well in all my 270s but just not as good as the 4831s.
