Guntersville tourney cheaters

I just don't understand some people, but I guess that this is what happens when money is involved. I couldn't imagine having to cheat to win and glad that they were caught. I often wonder if and how often this happens in small tournaments around here.

Sad, but anytime money is involved somebody will unfortunately be tempted to cheat!! I have no sympathy and they should be charged just like a thief!!!

Unless you have fished them and unless you have been successful you have no idea the jealousy that can form in these tournaments. I have won quite a few of them and it gets ridiculous. I've never bragged about winning, but when I didn't people were coming out of the woodwork to put me down for getting beat. Pure jealousy plain and simple. If you get your feelings hurt easy don't fish them. I do believe there are people that would do anything to win. Or win at least in their mind.

Even the "big" boys show lack of sportsmanship. I watched several drive close at another fisherman during a Bassmasters Tourney on Douglas. One boat might not be too bad but each of the ones that came by had several groupies in tow.

Hope they stick it to them good. Maybe someone will whip their butts next time they are at the dock putting in their boat. I use to fish a lot more than I do now, used to fish a afternoon tourney every week. There was a fella that was winning quite regular. A couple haters followed him and watched what he was doing. After they figured he was catching his fish off a big brush pile on a drop off. They drug a boat anchor around until they drug the brush pile off the drop.
